Good mental health is an ongoing process. Therapy is great for dealing with the bigger issues, but mindfulness, meditation and movement practices should ideally become a regular part of your life, once the therapy is over, to help you keep your mind and psyche healthy.
Mindfulness and Meditation practices are proven to be effective at dealing with stress and anxiety. Affirmations and gratitude practices help to reframe the world in a more positive way, helping us to feel happier and more content. Listening to audio recordings can help to enforce what you have covered in therapy, and can then be used for ongoing deep relaxation, stress management and other therapeutic purposes.
There are lots of options available, including individual sessions, group sessions, workshops and online training or products, so please contact us or browse our shop if you feel we can help.
“I recommend Susan’s approach to anyone who seeking professional help to overcome challenges in their mental health, changing behaviour and outlook, and in finding the right direction in life.”
Mindfulness

Often we become overwhelmed, thinking about the past and all we have been through, and worrying about tomorrow and all that is yet to come. We can spend very little time in the present.
Mindfulness helps us to anchor into the present using breathing techniques and sensory exercises which help to give us a break from worrying about the past or future, and allow us to just ‘be’ in the present. It is a wonderful way to clear the mind and find inner pace – and once we are calm and peaceful, we often find that we can cope better with any challenges life may throw our way.
“I couldn’t believe the change from just a couple of sessions of deep relaxation. I am sleeping a lot better now and also my mind feels clearer. Thanks so much!“
Meditation

Meditation provides a wealth of benefits, including stress and anxiety management, pain control, sleep improvement, developing focus, increasing self-awareness and helping to regulate emotions.
Studies show that regular meditation actually creates more grey matter in our brain, particularly in the Hippocampus which is involved with memory and learning. The Hippocampus is also involved in re-categorising traumatic memories so that they are no longer as upsetting.
Physically, meditation helps prevent lower blood pressure and prevent cardiovascular disease. It bolsters our immune system and supports our Autonomic Nervous System. It even changes our brain waves. Including meditation in your daily routine is one of the best things you can do to help your body, mind and spirit.
Audio Recordings
Sometimes, you want to relax, meditate or work on self-improvement at home, when it’s impossible to meet with a therapist or attend a workshop. Or, you may be someone who prefers to work in private and at your own pace. Audio recordings are perfect for this.
As well as providing powerful suggestions for positive change, audio recordings are also able to use modern audio technology to enhance the hypnotic effect, for instance by playing different sounds in different ears (bi-lateral stimulation), which allows the listener to go into a deeper trance state, or by including sound effects and/or music to create an all-encompassing experience.
Audio recordings can come in single tracks which you can listen to as and when you need to, or they can come as bundles which allow you to pick and choose which audio to listen to. You can also work through different audio recordings as a mini-wellness course. Please check our shop for all the audio recordings we currently offer – then just sit back or lie down and enjoy them!
